Clinical Evidence
Iron supplementation reduced fatigue by 47.7% in non-anaemic iron-deficient women compared to 28.8% for placebo.
Iron supplementation reduced subjective fatigue by 29% in women of reproductive age, regardless of baseline anaemia status. The effect was strongest in non-anaemic iron-deficient women.

Systematic review of 11 studies confirmed strong association between iron deficiency and chronic telogen effluvium. Iron supplementation restored hair growth in deficient women within 3-6 months.

Iron significantly reduces absorption of thyroid medication. Take at least 4 hours apart.
Iron reduces absorption of tetracycline antibiotics. Separate doses by at least 2 hours.
